The main Brazilian exporter and one of the largest producers of semi-trucks in the world, Randon carries out a new delivery of products to strategic customers on the African continent in March. Together with the distributor Auto Sueco, from Angola, semi-trucks of the Tank model and units of the Dry Cargo model were shipped to that country. The products were exported in a complete way, in the modality known as CBU (Completely Built Up).
These deliveries are part of a set of negotiations with customers from that continent, which enable a portfolio already contracted that represents a volume higher than that negotiated in all last year with customers from African countries. The improved performance of sectors such as oil and mining explain the acceleration identified this year.
The movement in the first months of 2023 adds to historical results, such as those recorded last year. Randon totaled 5.7 thousand products sold to the international market, adding 3.9 thousand exported from Brazil to 1.8 thousand units manufactured in plants abroad. The numbers were mainly boosted by the entry into the United States market.
Randon has a national and international distribution network spread over more than 175 points. In addition to the manufacturing units in Brazil, Argentina and the United States – which positions the company as the only Brazilian road implement OEM with manufacturing units abroad – it works with partners to assemble semi-trucks in several strategic global logistics points.
